The shape
of freedom
has a unique taste

Logo Long live the bottles of Contadi Castaldi, which recall the "feeling of things" quietly preached by Morandi. Which, finally - in the intuition of that shortened neck, of those dilated curves in noble, almost material placidity – inevitably call to mind the sinuous airiness of Costantin Brancusi and his “Maïastra”, a magical creature of the skies, supple and vigorous at the same time, in the enchantment of the sublime perfection of form.

Bottiglia

Contadi Castaldi has selected a revolutionary shape for its bottles, marking a radical departure from tradition.

Bottiglia

The radius of the curvature is wider, the neck of the bottle is shorter and its diameter has been reduced. The result is a substantial increase of the surface on which the yeasts are deposited, which is equal to that of large Magnum or Jeroboam bottles.

Bottiglia

The advantage of this shape is its ability to influence its contents. In fact, the greater the surface area onto which the liquid and the yeasts are deposited during the ageing process, the greater the taste and bouquet of the wine will be. This is thanks to the role played by yeasts, crucial for yielding substances useful to the development of the expressive bouquet of a Franciacorta cuvée.
